Beginner Tips?

I just moved my mastering from the VS1680 to my PC. I have SF 4.5 w/XFX1&2 + Noise reduction plugins, and CD Arch.

Does anyone have a pointer to a tips and tricks page on the Web? Or any you'd like to post yourself?

I have SF 4.5, but not the plug-ins you mentioned. I like it a lot, although one piece of advice I would give is not to overdo it on the editing --- It's easy to get carried away with endless EQ tweaks, compression, level-adjustment, etc. But every processing that you apply degrades the original sound quality a tiny bit, and that can add up if you run it through 50 different processing algorithms! Other than that, it's fantastic! Best of luck!
