I have a decent sound module. I can trigger it with my guitar, but would like to record those midi sequences, and then TWEAK THEM AFTER RECORDING.

For example, can I graphically modify dynamics, or do other visual editing, using affordable notation software or something?

I would like to be able to add slurs, etc, for some notes, or glissandos that my trigger won't produce, and then pipe the finished sequence back to the sound module.

Possible? Affordable?

Thanks very much, I think this Cakewalk stuff might be for me!

I am a big Cakewalk fan and have used it for years. I tried Cubase and disliked it. However, others have a different opinion and prefer Cubase or some other sequencer. A lot of it has to do with how you work and what you want to do (I also think a lot of it has to do with what you are used to... I started on Cakewalk and found I didn't like a lot of little things about Cubase which a "native" Cubaser probably loves). Most of these products have demos. You can also get your feet wet with shareware/freeware at either

That being said, I still really like Cakewalk. Enjoy
