Hi, im going to record mostly vocal and acoustic guitar, can any1 suggest me a recording software which is easy to use?

ive been looking at Cakewalk's Music Creator 5.. is it good?

I suggest you not to start with all the 1$ softwares because it's pretty hard to start over with normal software later.
In my opinion Cubase is excellent software and one of the most popular today. "Cubase" is very professional and friendly to use. You can always find help on the web (tutorials on youtube and of course this forum for example) for the basic acts and go on...
Anyway, welcome to this wonderful world and... good luck!

Reaper would offer an easy learning curve for the beginner!

Muzza

Reaper will let you get over the learning curve for free (it's fully functional with only a short nag screen)
when you get guilty enough to pay for it the personal license is only $40.

Check it out!

Audacity's completely free and perfectly fine for what you want to do.

I'd go with that or Reaper, anything more seems like overkill (and overspending) for your purposes.
