I like what you do with the guitars, you have a retro eighties-goth sound I really like, especially in the start of "In my head". You should use that more, it makes the production stand out from the standard "New Metal" production which you seem to be leaning towards otherwise.


Now, calling you retro eghties-goth might be cruel, I don't know. :)

Yeah...I was starting to review sjoko's song...and realized I was in the wrong thread. How tacky...eh? So, the sjoko pertinants got deleted. Plus...I need a whole fresh day to decide how to flame in sjoko's thread, anywazzz

gee...and I get comments about my stuff sounding like the 80's all the time too. And you wonder why I made the comparison. OK, maybe my stuff is more TV show[sound] oriented(at least that's what I've usually been told) and not Goth...but just thought I'd try and shed a little light on why I made a comparison.

I'll leave you alone now Joe, and stay out of your way.

I realize that I am just a person who just has a couple of strong opinions...unlike all the other musicians I know

Nice catchy chorus in "In My Head". And "Your Life Story" is very good too. Like that acoustic guitar sound at 1:55 and later in the song. What are you using for drum's?

I'm using a Boss Dr-770 Drum machine for Bass and snare and all live cymbals and Hi hats close miked with an SM57

AC guitar was double tracked once with a 4033 and once with a SM57...

(Im digging in the memory files here, I might be wrong)
