basses intended for BEAD tuning???

Hello, and then sum.



I need a backup bass for gigs, (and a head) and wondered if there are more basses built for BEAD tuning???

I've got a Schecter Scorpion, which is... But I wouldn't wanna have same as backup. ..It's great, but I like variation!:D

I've got a Fernandez which I tuned with a Schaller bridge and EMG:s tuned to B too, but I REALLY WANT another bass!!!!!:D:mad::D
 
I think most basses can be strung BEAD, but it'll take a little file work on the nut. I'd rather get a 5ver.
 
I've got one of those too, them 5strings.
I rather play a 4string neck. And seldom use more than the 3 bottom-strings ahyhow...:o
I see bassists that play mostly in one position fret-wise, as I like to get up and down on the neck,,,

But surely Schecter can't be the only one making a B-dedicated 4-string?:confused:
