My absorbers are pretty far away from the wall...
they are 2 inches thick and they are about 10 inches away from the wall...makes it once inch together...

but my question is about the bass traps...

the bass traps are in every corner of the room (4 corners)
i have 8 bass traps 4 feet in height....my ceiling is 8 feet high...so i have allllll my corners covered from top to bottom...

my question is....should they cover the corners completely or should i also have a distance away from the corner? (see pic, zoom in for better visual)

also, other than the traps etc., i also have a lot of curtains/blankets that i can hang...
If you had a perfect rectrangular room....9 by 17............where would you place the blankets?
my corners and some parts of the wall are covered...i also have absorbers *clouds* on the ceiling...
where would you put the extra blankets....

thanks

The pic on the left is the way to go.

Also, you say you have panels on all the corners, what about the ceiling and floor corners? Where is the mix station and monitors and what behind them?

I wouldn't use the blankets really. They only would really help with vocal/vocal reflections but wouldn't do you much go on full spectrum stuff.

Makes these for the sidewalls

And place them like this:
