Bass Trapping

Are the RPG Modex bass traps any good? I need to bass trap a fairly small room and I can't really order Real Traps due to the shipping cost (I live in Alaska and it's something like $70 per trap), and I've not heard great things about plain foam bass traps. What are my best options in this situation?

Make some of your own! Get some rigid fiberglass like Owens Corning 703 and straddle the room corners with from floor to ceiling. Works great, and is really cheap. Just cover the panels in fabric to keep the fibers intact.
