bass through my guitar effects processor?

I just bought a DOD vgs50. I really love it, and it's opened a door for me to start recording audio on my pc. My question is: Can I plug a bass into it? It seems like there would be no harm in doing so, but I want to be sure before I take a chance of wrecking a $300 piece of equipment.

The answer is "yes." Just know that the EQ may not do your bass justice. On the other hand, you might find just the right patch to make you bass sound perfect. Absolutely no harm in trying.

The POD works well for bass. Takes a bit of experimentation to get the EQ right, though.
