Uhh...god..
This isn't easy, spent some 6 hours to do it, and it's still crap.
bad timing flaws due to not practicing tapping.
But for laughs ..in my humble ability..:
ruined the backingtrack trying to remove previous bass...

No, I think you made the backing track better, and with the bass line turned this into what could be a song. I like the low bass notes

Playing around with chords and harmonies was fun to make small melodies...with.
I made a few tracks playing with fingers, but I couldn't hit the string with my right-hand fingers, so including tapping everything is played with a pick.
Had to turn the pick sideways to make a proper hit to a moving string!

Not sure, the bass was lying in my lap and I may have been bending a bit. Did't add anything else. Couldn't go any longer, ran out of notes and my fingers were hurting.
