surfmaster New member Mar 7, 2006 #2 ive got a pvm 325 and with some eq tweaking you can get it to sound pretty nice, it gives a nice cutting edge which some bands like, and some bands hate.

tourettes5139 New member Mar 7, 2006 #5 If the bass amp has a line out, I would say that it would be preferable to use that, rather than miking the cab in a live situation.

H hipknot01 New member Mar 7, 2006 #6 its an older amp and when i do it direct is comes out fuzzy and micing it just sounds so much better
