combo 2x10

no mention of tubes

old craigslist at $300 ..
the old one only came as a head ...... which took two young men to carry!!!!
It was a beast but didn't sound that great.
Durable though .... at one gig at LSU's parade ground I had it on a stand ( about 3' tall) on the stage ( about 5' high) and someone knocked it over ..... it fell thge entire 8 feet to slam into the ground.
Picked it up ..... put it back on the stand ...... still worked fine ...... no damage at all!
Still sounded so-so though.

I think that 400 combo would do it for ya' considering what you've been playing thru. They probably have two 8 ohm 10's in there I would think giving you a 4ohm load.

I'd give it a try, although I think in my opinion it's at the low end power-wise for a full rock band with halfstacks and shit.

does his band have halfstacks?

If so I agree with Greg.
I got my SWR on the bay for 250 bucks.
Haunt the bay and find something with some oomph.

Here's the current stack...the guitar has been smashed so ignore that one(which reminds me to look for a solid state as they tend to get pretty rough live at times)..:p

a smaller combo would be great, with a lot of ooomph

I don't know, I'm just saying in my opinion if he is playing in a rock band with powerful halfstacks, 350 bass watts might be right on the low end of being powerful enough to sound good and clean.

if you mean the guitarist 6string...its a 120watt 60x2 hybrid combo w/effects and might be going up a level in volume soon too.

Oh yeah, that bass rig should be able to handle that. If it's just one guitar, even with a halfstack, you should be okay with that Fender combo.

great news, thanks for the inputs!
its a good local pickup too, supposedly in good shape.

Heres a pic of that, will pick it up next few days.
Hopefully this is enough and can at a minimum match the Rumble 100 w/400watthead into that 15.
$300 ...
