bass amp microphone

What is a good microphone for recording a bass guitar amp? I was think of getting Shure SM57 but the freqency response is decidedly non-flat in the lower bass range.

however the 57 does do very good job on 10" and 12" cab`s with eq.

audiotechnica's atm25 is also another good mic for a bass cab and kick drums.

sathyan, I own all the mic's mentioned in this thread... and the Sennheiser MD421 is the mic you should get.
