Well, I got water coming in at one corner of my finished basement. My one-year-old carpet is destroyed and I need tuckpointing and sealing work done IMMEDIATELY!!!

My loss is your gain. :(

Although previously posted at the rediculously low price of $300, I'm forced to let my Digitech Vocalast Workstation EX go now for only $250. This is half the cost of a new unit (and mine is still "like new") and you could re-sell it for more on Ebay. I won't do Ebay on principle, no matter how bad I need the money.

Digitech Vocalist Workstation EX

This unit is "like new" in the original box with manual and power supply. It's never left our smoke-free studio, but it can also be used live on stage.... unlike computer-based pitch correctors and harmonizers, which limit you to "studio only" use. This is one nifty little unit!

http://www.digitech.com/products/vws.htm

Features include:
• Up to 5 part harmony including input vocal
• Harmony voice “gender” feature
• Extensive “humanizing” options
• Pitch Correction (Automatic or Manual)
• Front panel mixing for quick access during performance
• Built-in digital reverb
• Transmits and receives single program dumps from Studio Vocalist and/or another Vocalist Workstation
• Bright LCD display
• 8 softkeys for additional harmony options and to simplify editing
• One octave front panel keyboard for key and chord entry
• Song mode for harmonies without MIDI
• Comprehensive MIDI SysEx implementation: many parameters are accessible via MIDI

There's a lot of cool factory presets that emulate harmonies from famous bands, like... The Eagles, The Doobie Brothers,
The Everly Brothers, etc. etc.

These things cost $500 new, check it...

Also, this stuff is at the music store on consignment right now, but I'll retreive it and let it go for $375 for the full package with guitar, or just $225 for just the GR-30 (minus the guitar) with manual, cables, GK-2A, power supply, etc.

For Sale: Roland GR-30 Guitar Synthesizer

This unit is in "like new" condition and includes the power supply, 13-pin synth-cable, splitter cable and the GK-2A pickup. The pickup is presently mounted (screwed in) on a like-new Yamaha Pacifica PAC-012, black w/a white pickguard, which still has the original plastic covering on it. The Pacifica was professionally set up and plays just like an American Standard Fat Strat (bridge pickup is a humbucker and the other two are single-coil). Do a search if you want the specs and whatnot. This is a nice unit that can duplicate everything from horns to pianos, strings, organs, synthesizers and just about any wind instrument you can think of. The Pacifica works perfectly with this thing, so keep that in mind because you'd either have to drill two small holes in one of your guitars to mount the GK-2A pickup, or use adhesive pads, which may not hold up well at a 'live' gig.

I also have a "like new" Pintech Dual Zone Concertcast Snare Pad, like this one here...

I also have a brand new mesh head (still in package) to go along with it...
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/src=SearchDex/search/detail/base_pid/444872

As you can see, this combo sells for $150 new.

I'll let it go for only $60

If this stuff isn't sold by the end of the week, I'm forced to take whatever Guitar Center will rape me for it. :(

Man Buck, sorry to hear about that. I don't use those type of things or I'd try to take them off your hands. But Buck is a great guy to deal with for those of you who may be interested in that stuff.

Thanx, man... I got paneling ripped down, wet carpet and a real mess going here.

I got two little kids (3 and 1) and everyone in my family is allergic to mold, so this work has to get done pronto!

And yes, I'm on the "Good Guys List"...

Man, that is so kind of you to offer!

I just received good news this evening, though. We've been working without a contract at my job for nearly 2 years now (Policeman and Firemen can't ever go on strike... it's a violation of federal law). But the arbitrator between our union and the city of Chicago has just made his decision and it looks like I'm going to get a 3% raise, which is retroactive (3% annually) back to the time our last contract ended. So, if all goes as it should, I should be seeing a retro check that is gonna save my ass with the next month or so. That, and I just got a lower estimate on the tuckpointing/sealing work I need done ($500 cheaper than the first guy), so it looks like we're gonna be okay.

Pheeeew!!!

Thanx for the generous offer and for just being good-hearted person. I must admit I was kinda choked up that a person I don't personally know would be concerned enough about my situation to help. God bless you for that. :)

In the past week or so I've sold off almost $800 of gear and got just enough extra cover the repairs and juggle the regular bills 'til that retro check comes.

Thanx again... :)

Thats good to hear. I've been blessed and just wanted to offer a little something. I was going to offer more, but I want to try and get a few others to join in. Its good to do stuff like that and God bless me everyday for it.

What do you mean?

A Liberal would have eliminated any reference to God. ;)
