Banning DJL Pt.II: Thoughts,Opinions and Factoids.

As most of you well know that prior to becoming a member of HR, one must agree to abide by the simple rules and regulations set forth by Dragonian Dave.
Annoying and excessive spamming, posting of physical threats/harmful actions towards others, posting extremely prejudicial statements against one's religious,racial,sexual,etc background, excessive cross-posting, deceptive sale pitches & ads, etc.,etc,etc.. Simple rules requiring basic, common sense when utilizing this site's features along with affording others the common courtesy and respect when thier opinion/(s) differ from yours just as well that you should be reciprocated in kind for your stance. When disagreements between 1 or more individuals descends to name-calling, personal flame-wars and overall frustration, using the "IGNORE" feature alleviates the aggravation of dealing with an individual you deem a waste.

The "BANNING" of an individual from HR should only be done when that particular individual has severly misused & abused along with grossly breaking
this site's Rules & Regs. "F- THER TIME"(along with his 12 or 13 aliases) and "DJ FINGAZ" are just 2 of just a few, who were deservedly "BANNED" for thier insane and idiotic ways.

feels-"H.Gerst"-ain't-nuthin'-but-bratwurst,MP3-non-postin'/never-ear'd-non-of-his-songs,B1-B2-B3-C1-C4-loaded-to-blow-a-SP1-kaboom-look-who-stepped-in-the-mic-room, INTELLIGENT,RESPECTFUL and left-brained-only, PAIN-IN-'DA-@SS,MOFO!!!! Home-slice does have a unique way of pissin' most people off but ya' know sumthin', he rarely resorts to degradation or intimidation!
Put DJL on your "IGNORE" list if he pisses you off but IMO, he has done nothing to warrant an outright "BAN"! Mannnn, there have been ocassions(?) where I'm checkin' out some great mic-advice here in THIS forum when alla' sudden, here comes home-boy flippin' the script to some off-the-wall negative sh*t about this or that.....Grrrrrrrrr! But it's all good!

Tell ya' one thing, DJL, along with EVERYBODY ELSE HERE, is more than welcome to attend the "4TH ANN HR.COM JAM/RECORDING/BBQ/BEER FEST !!"

The "rules" we agree to are;

"By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws."

Now I obviously don't know the intricacies of US law, but the behaviour of not only DJL but a couple of others in the past would have to raise questions. The other thing that should be considered is even if there are no precise legal issues involved, there may be ethical or moral standards being compromised.

There are no grounds for banning, and in a funny way I hope he doesn't go. He's always answered my non-PMI questions in a very helpful way, and he is very often right (or at least one of a number of possible 'rights') in his recommendations.
 
wezll, if its good for the board i'd say; throw him out,
but he never said anything personal to me, he never stepped on my toes, eventough i noticed that some of his posts were rather sick... :rolleyes:


but i bet some people will feel better if he's gone;.. and don't we all want peace love and undersatements ?

there are some nice mic threads that start out ok for 1 1/2 pages and then have 3 to 5 pages of bs and 1 or 2 posts back to the point. It makes the bbs a mess esp. for some people wanting the info. a moderator would help, but instead, ban the guy messing up the threads is the next best thing, I guess. and you wonder why the same questions come up over and over and how searching is ok until you or a newbie has to wade thru 10 pages of mud slinging.

how anyone could seem to care that much to spend so much time over and over writing the same crap about the same subjects is hard to believe. even putting quotes from other threads in there. turns good info, the point of this place, into hard-to-find info, like the rest of the web. Ignore function insn't the answer either, it's the cave B. I don't go there anymore, it's pointless, and I don't like to see it happen here.

Another thing, I'm at the point where I've learned some stuff. So I don't need to be here every day for hours, but do I try to help others out here? No, not much, b/c there's some opinionated mud slinger beating me to it w/ their mud. So I and I'm sure many others w/ way more to add than I have, also stay away, and THAT'S what SUCKS about the negativity of the haters. Limiting the spread of the info and help that this place has to offer, wasted potential is obscene.
