Hey everyone, I am in need of some suggestions on how to get a better sound for my bands recording. I have a few sample MP3's that I have posted on http://www.mp3.com/glikk and I would love some feedback on my work. This is the first time I have tried to record, produce my own music so I need some tips. I have a few mics, a great amp, a compressor, and a good sound card, but I don't have money to buy expensive stuff. If any of you could please listen to my work at the website, and then leave feedback here, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!!!

give us a complete list of your gear and mics so we can better help you.

...Welcome to the board Douhgy. And FYI, there's a MP3 mixing Clinic forum in the other side of this BBS. Post there to ask for comments on your Mp3 work. People go there either to post their songs, or hear some others songs... There's also Mixing/mastering forum to go. Many good informative articles/threads...

Here is a list of my equipment...

3 SHS OM-500 Mics
Line 6 Flextone II XL guitar amp
Alesis Nanocompressor
12 Channel Mixing board
M-Audio Delta 44 Sound Card
