Bad Day:

Revisited:

What I Am:

Every Day:

ps: its ska

Bad day...

ahh...French Quarter...with heavy gtrs... I can't comment really...because I would just try to turn it into New York slick...and screw the vibe all up. You guys stand still when you play??:D :D

I'm gonna refer this to the ska experts on the board.... I liked it though... vocals up, maybe??

whoa...2:14...the party begins....where did they go?

Live recording??

I listened to a bit of "revisisted"....intro maybe a tad long...and some drum issues, possibly. I don't know...is the performances and tones as important as the "feel"? I wouldn't think so. I think as "raw" as you guys kinda sound, you'd get the place with everyone jumping on tables, girls pulling their tops off, beer selling like crazy...and all kinds of musical decidance...

bad day

cool tune.. sounds kinda live.. the distorted guitar that comes in needs to be e.q.'d better.. things sound kinda loose at times and the vocals get low.. sounds strange at times, like it's live.. things should get louder when the heavy guitar comes in, but it sounds like it almost gets lower than the other part.. very cool tune but the levels and mix off.. I am from New york so I get to hear my share of ska.. I liked this song, but I wasn't crazy about the recording... almost sounds like it was recorded on a 4 track cassettee..

I listened to "What I Am". Hmmm. When it starts i hear a lot of distortion what sounds like the drums (actually, everything). Also the band gets very loose, especially in the tempo changes. I hate to say this but it was hard to listen to. Sorry.
To be fair, I also listened to "Bad Day". Much better than the first one I listened to.

Listened to Bad Day. I like the song. Love the horn recording. Sounds real nice. Drums sound a little mono but it's refreshing to hear a real drum track. Maybe just add a little stereo element to them. Hi hat is a little loud for me and something about the tone of it seems just a tad to bright.

The guitar gobbles up the vocal spectrum so it stomps all over the vocal track. Makes it hard for the vocals to get through.

The vocals could use a little more convincing delivery imo, the style seems a little too apathetic to me but maybe that's what you're going for.

anyway, thanks for posting. I like the very last vocal sample. I think she said "milk?"
