That Norwegian Bastard
This is something I threw together today.

Its suposed to be sorta like a tribute to my old guitar, wich I`ve had all my life.
More than 30 years old it was decapitated this weekend, so this kinda like a mourning tune.

Guitars are done in Guitar rig, Bass is DI`d, (Check out the sound of the bass its got flatwounds sounds amazing:D)
Flute is recorded with a Mxl v67g Condenser mic.
Drums are groove Agent Drum machine.

The tune is still very scetchy, but it got its moments:)

Nice to hear a new tune from you. This is cool. Almost a "Messiah Will Come Again" mixed with a Classical/Blackmore feel. Deep, dark sound. If this is just a quick idea, I can't wait until it's developped.


We hardly knew that guitar. And as quick as it walked into our lives, it's gone!!!! OH! The in-humanity!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks man, It was a blast recording today.
I should be fun doing this with some more time put into it.

I just hope my guitar is proud up there in Guitar heaven:D
 
I like the Spanish feel to the harmony, and the melancholy of it. Man, I sure remember my first gtr and wish I still had it.
 
Good sketch - good ideas - I hope it was cathartic.
Now, go forth and make it into big music.
 
Good mix Nakatira.... Lots of cool guitar playing and excellent effects. I got a Floyd vibe heavily during the solos.
What do you mean by decapitating your guitar?

Pretty cool Naka...sounds a bit like Floyd met Tull, with a bit of Zeppelin...:D

Nice playing...very cool vibe. I like it man....:D
