Does anyone know how they recorded their vocals on the song "The Shinning". I really like how clear it sounds and I want my vocal to sound simlar.
 
I'm not familiar with the song, but about 12 years ago a new album came out I had to get and I was wondering how something was recorded.

I called the studio and spoke to the engineer who tracked it.

Engineers are not inaccessable, in fact some will talk your ear off if you ask the right questions and they have the time.

Not all groups will use the staff engineer though. I got lucky.
