Background music for recording on a home CD player.

I'm asking this question for a friend of a friend.

This man does not use computer's, but he would like to purchase music CD's that he can record his voice along with background music on his home CD player.

Hope this makes sense.

Is there a place he can purchase these CD's?

Being this man doesn't have a computer to select the music he wants at much better prices, are there any music stores that you know of whereby he can select and purchase what he wants.

He sings country western songs.
