Does it matter if I back up my files (Cakewalk) to a CD data disc as opposed to CDRW? AS I understand it the only difference wd be that I can't hear music from a data disc??

here we go:
On a data cd, you can only use it on the computer (unless the data you have on the cd is in wav. or mp3 format that players support)
On a cd-rw, you can do the same thing, but on cd-rws, you can earse them. but you can not play them on cd players unless their say that they can play cd-rw and most of the news can now days.
