Looks like I lied on my last post <_< This is actually the first song I ever recorded. I never "mixed" it, per se. I didn't have studio monitors at the time. But it sounds pretty good, I think. This is my favorite song that I've done. I wrote it about my current girlfriend, looong before we started dating :D Anyway, let me know what you think!

There's a pretty long intro until the lyrics start. I let each instrument come in on it's own. And then the instrumental plays out for a while afterwards too. I hope you guys enjoy it! And give me feedback please!

Drums sound really blah.... Could use something cleaner as it has too much distortion....and could use some rolls.
The vocals are really well done - the doubling is very very close and turned out well IMO.
Good breath control - even though this editted Intro was a bit long and needs to shorten.
It's simple and the vocals are the main focus which is okay because they are well done.
For first mix it's good...

Thanks for the tip on the drums. The drum pattern is pretty simple on this beat intentionally(Kick, snare, kick, snare). I made the beat in about 3 minutes, just to test out my new midi controller. Normally I don't use it for very many, if any, parts of a song when creating the music. For the intro, I'm thinking about taking out the last 8 bars of it, which is a chorus section that I hadn't even recorded a chorus for. I appreciate the kind words too! (: Thank you for the input.

I removed the chorus sections from the beginning and the end. It cut down the song length by a good 43 seconds lol
