I am looking for a copy of the manual for the ax1000g preferably in downloadable format (pdf or doc.) Anyone out there who could help a confused old hippie who wants to write his own patches without writing over the factory presets.

Anyways. I think there is a link on Musicians Friends product page for the ax1000g that has the manual in PDF. You won't be writing over the presets anyways. There is a whole seperate bank of presets after the first set that you can't change. You can always get them back anyways. Hold down exit, and plug it in, then hit enter after it says RELOAD. Hope this helps.
