Avlex microphones?

Anyone every heard or used these mics? Would they be good for overheads?

I ran across Avlex when chasing down info about Superlux mics. It looks to me like Avlex distributes Superlux drum mics but under their own (Avlex's) name(?)

well, the cheap ones are shit, but if you get the chance to get the av 20, it's a bass drum mic, it's got A GREAT attack and thud to it, I love it. A drummer friend who's very respectable, been writing/playing with some big guys I can't mention b/c of contract issues, but he's got remo endorsements, paiste endorsements, stick and drums, too, but I forget. he uses those all the time, and his recordings always come out incredible.
