autotune, cher effect??

If the Kid Rock ballad is the one with Cheryl Crow... she refuses to perform it, even though she wrote it... because she hates it that much!!

No. It's an older one than that. I don't know the name, but its really, really horrid stuff. Far worse than "Picture". With extreme Autotune the whole way through it.

How I got the cher effect.. (or something close)

Have your vocalist sing the part in a straight note, with all the dynamics butwithout melody.
Then use the graphic interface of the Antares Autotune and draw the melody
for the vocal track manually. Automate the vibratos.

Best fun to have with autotune is to sing as crappy and offkey as possible, put on the autotune wit max settings. Add a preset technobeat and laugh your ass off. :)
