Automatic Crossfade?

Is there an option in Cubase Sx to automatically crossfade a track when you punch in or punch out? I have a friend im working with and his tracks have a lot of little "pops" where he punched in or joined things. I don't get much actual hands on time with Cubase out at his place so I haven't been able to read the help file or dig through the menus. Of course he should do this himself but he is lazy. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

Select all the objects you want crossfaded and hit x

ok cool, is there somewhere to set the actual crossfade time and stuff or? In Audition there is basically an option that says something like "crossfade all edits at __ ms or whatever" .

I always do it manually by sizing the objects. I also record in layers, so it doesn't work like a tape machine punch-in.
