Wow. I have never heard $40 make such an instant difference! Has anyone else had a set of these? My sub-optimal set up includes near-fields sitting on a big wooden desk, and I was having a devil of a time with low-end, and with reflections depending on where I put my head: not any more! We'll see how much of a difference it makes when it comes to mixing, but as far as listening, my BM5a's and Rokit RP5's have never sounded nearly this good.

And no, I'm no shill for Auralex: this is the first product I've purchased from them, and I'm certain other companies make comparable or superior products. I just like these!

I've got a set that got chucked in with the monitors... never tried the monitors without them so I don't know how much difference they're actually making, but they're good for raising the monitors off the desk a bit and angling them as I need them.

I have been using these for years. Totally worth it. Cleaned up my low end muddiness.

I am too and happy with them for the most part. Although sometimes the bass from my Mackies does overpower them.

Anyway, I am looking to buy a new house, and specifically checking houses that may have a room where I can setup a more or less "proper" room. Once I get that, I am thinking of building speaker stands made of concrete. That should do it :D
