I've got an OM3 and an OM5 and I love them with all of my heart. The OM6 looks like a nice mic. Haven't used the OM6, but I definitely prefer the OM5 to the beta 58/57. The Audixes tend to be a lot more crisp sounding in comparison to shures. the betas are better than the regular 58's, but they still sound kinda muddy to me. I suppose one man's "muddy" is another man's "full" though...
The feedback rejection on the audixes is incredible. The downside to this is it's harder to use audixes. You have to have great mic technique and get right up on the grill or it gets lost. Once you learn how to use it though, Audixes seriously rock.
