hey.

im having a problem with ReWire, i was wondering if anyone else ran into this. im rewiring reason 2.5, but all i get if i try to record something from reason is static. im assuming you can also play a midi keyboard in reason, using an effect, and record it in real time in Audition but i cant figure how it works. all i get when i rewire is the first tarck turns green or whatever, the record button is disabled, and i get no levels in Audition, playing something in reason.

any suggestions?
andy.

I have the exact same question if someone can help.

I have a guitar track that I want to record strings on top of. So one track for guitar and one from strings.

The strings will be coming in from Reason. Do I use Rewire? What do I do? When I use ReWire it wont let me arm the track to record...

I do it like this:
I record midi in Cubase, do some editing and export it to audio file(wav) and save it on my PC.
Then I import that audio file to Audition multitrack section together with my guitar tracks, put more effects if necessarily and mix it with whatever I want.
I use Audition as main software because I am familiar with it.
