I have been looking for a good card and interface for my new computer. It's got a P4-3.2 gig, 1024 meg of ram, 180 gig hard drive, XP etc. I want to be able to record at least 6 tracks at a time. The Audiotrak Maya 1010 PCI Audio Interface seems perfect for what I'll be doing and the price is pretty good to (299). The thing is it seems nobody in any forums talk about it. I know it doesn't come with software. Besides that, is it a good card? Is 12 volts of phantom power enough (compared to the echo laya 48V). It is suposed to be compatible with all the programs I would imagine using. It has some new E-WMD driver, but can I still use an ASIO driver with it? Is the E-WMD driver better or worse than ASIO. It seems to be a somewhat complicated card, will I have difficulties getting it to work right? ETC.

Is it as good as it sounds?

I haven't seen before today, I'm thinking it must be new but I could be wrong.
In fact I'm usually wrong ;)

Any way if it is up to specs with the Delta 1010lt or even better 1010 it looks like it would be a great deal. It appears to have 8 balanced inputs.
