I've used one for 6 months now. WDM-drivers are good (gave me 4.4 ms latency in Sonar 2.1), ASIO-drivers are better for me (2.9 ms latency in Sonar 2.2). It's just a great card for a great price!

I do know that, but try hard not to post hardware stuff in the Cake forum - don't need the flame

The INCA seems to support 8 simultaneous in's with no problem? No choking?

I did a test once. Connected all 8 inputs to a source (4 stereo-sources), armed 8 tracks in Sonar, went out for 1/2 hour, and it was still recording without any glitches when I came back (and that was with Input Monitoring enabled) and 4.4 ms latency. No effects, though...

My old SB Audigy wouldn't record over 5 minutes at a time, so I was impressed...

That is outstanding info, and very relevant to me as I currently use the Extigy (external USB version of the Audigy).

30 minutes? 8 Tracks? Hope you had plenty of HD space cleared off prior to test!

Effects aren't an issue. I typically record "dry" and add them later.

Used ca. 1.2 gig HD-space...

mine works fine for what it is, a 8 track r 2 r was the same price, and i run cep 2.
