Audiophile24/96 and Cubase5vst

Need information on setting up this bloody card with my cubase. It is driving me nuts. I have got this far......instrument into 4-track into audiophile(analog in 1&2) speakers attatched to audiophile(analog out 1&2). I have selected the audiophile in the audio system set-up in cubase. When i record the instrument i can hear it through the speakers ok, but when i try and listen to what i just recorded, i get nothing. I tried playing an mp3 that was on my pc, and that played ok......................frustration creeping in!!!

Sounds like 1 of two things.
Check the AP2496 control panel and make sure playback output channels are not muted and the sliders are up.
Or check the track in cubase and make sure its set to playback on chls. 1 & 2.

Got the problem sorted, phoned up the people who sold me the card. Ended up it was my 4-track going into the card that was the problem. Thanks for your help anyway.
