I had a question on the audiophile 2496 and the audio buddy. I was wondering if i could use 2 audio buddys at the same time through the audiophile to record more then 2 tracks at a time

Your synth -- you mean through a MIDI connection? No, the Delta has no MIDI interface. You would need a separate MIDI interface. If you mean through the audio ports, the answer is the same as the first question's -- no, not without submixing. 2 channels in is 2 channels in.

Unless you have something (the synth, maybe?) that has an S/PDIF output. I believe you can use the S/PDIF for another pair of simultaneous inputs if you have a digital source to connect to it.

lets stop right here....

exactly what are your needs?...what is the maximum number of simultaneous inputs you will need, and how many will need preamps....do you need midi in/out?......do you need an onboard synth?.......

....

actually from looking at previous threads, i guess i will need a delta 44, 2 audio buddys, and a midi interface....thanks for the help
