Audiophile vs Aardvark Direct Pro

Has anyone here actually had both, or switched from one to the other? I'm interested in how someone who has used both in basically the same studio setup would compare the quality of the converters. I'm not really intersted in how someone who has one or the other likes theirs. I think that's been pretty well covered in this forum.

I wanted to get the Audiophile, as it seemed it would do what I wanted and the price is right, but the more samples I hear done on the Aardvark stuff, the more I think that their converters might be a lot better.

Anyone who's had experience with both and could help me out, I would really appreciate it!
 
The Audiophile technically has slightly better converters......
 
i dunno...I would have to go out on a limb and say that I think technically the Aardvarks would be a little better...

But the clock in the Q10 is going to give you a better "sound" than the Audiophile, beyond just the converters.

So maybe converters arn't the *only* consideration.
