Does this thing have 2 ins and 2 outs only, or can it also be used as 4 ins? I seem to have lost my manual and I'm trying to get some extra multitracking action going on.

So in other words, if I'm not using the S/PDIF which I'm not, I'm limited to 2 ins/ 2 outs.

I know, sounds like a jip don't it. I didn't realize it till I took it out of the box.

Likewise, the Delta66 has 4 analog ins and 2 SPDIF ins. The Delta1010 has 8 analog ins and 2 spdif ins. The Delta44 has 4 analog ins and no spdif.

Anyone want to buy an Audiophile?
Hardly ever been used, it was owned by my Grandmother who only used it on Sundays to drive to church and back!

You mean to tell me you spent $100-something on a card that you didn't even know about? A trip to midiman.com could have saved some confusion. Hell, even musiciansfriend.com tells you it has one pair of analog i/o and s/pdif i/o.

I'm pouring salt in an open wound...sorry. I'd buy it, but I'm fresh out of PCI slots.

OK, I'll take you up on that, I've been looking for one on the cheap for a while. email me my my friend.

your cheapest way out is to sell it and get a Delta 44 if you want 4 analog in/outs.......good news is, ebay fetches up to $150 on these which is what i paid for mine new.....

another option is to find a cheap A/D converter to access the S/PDIF....i know Art has a DI/O that is going for about $99 right now....there may be something cheaper.......

Man........all this 'puter talk just makes my old coonass head spin. I am so glad I went with an analog board and a stand-alone recorder.....I don't think I'd ever be able to deal with all the SPDIF/www.techinator&^%$*&^ input/firewires. :D

Hey Gidge....you've got to come see the new band I'm in with my daughter. We're doing Weezer and Tracy Bonham....Black Crowes....some really cool stuff. PM me and I'll start letting you know where we are until we can find a night you can make it.
