I've just installed an Audiophile 2496. I've connected the output jacks from the card to my amp using female to female connectors.
The drivers have been installed and everything looks to be working OK in Cubase from a software point of view. Input meters are registering sound and so is the mixer in the Delta contol panel both when I play CD's and also tracks in Cubase.
Everything is fantastic............
.........Except there is no sound . The only thing I see that could be wrong is that the volume control is greyed out in Windows Device Manager and the volume is right down and will not let me change it. I haven't come across this before. Can anyone help?
