Audiophile 2496 or Revolution 7.1

Which one of these cards is better?? Could you let me know why please?? And is the lesser of the two (whichever it may be) a big improvement from SBLive (just wanna know this because of budget issues)? Thanks for the help.. ...BJ

The revolution is basically a gaming card or standard PC audio card and is not much more than a soundblaster {just M-Audio's version} If your looking for a card for recording, go with the audiophile.

As Stealthtech said the 2496 is the better choice, not just among these two, but among so many other cards for that range of price. Very easy to use, you get both digital and analog i/o, midi..... real nice card.
