audiophile 24/96 ?

If I order the 24/96 I`ll need to keep the live! card to play soundfonts, right?

Also the 24/96 can serve GM to drive the virtual synths, right?

The Audiophile 24/96 doesn't have any on-board sounds, so it doesn't know whether the midi you send thru it is GM or S&M or BVD or whatever (and it doesn't care!)

It is strictly an audio I/O card, not a "soundcard" as such.........

I follow... I just wanted to be sure it would i/o the midi from my korg to sonar and let me drive the virtual synths.

Handles midi quite well, but as Blue said....No onboard soundfonts

But you can always use a VSTi soundfont-player in Sonar (with a Dx wrapper).

... or even use the DXi soundfont-player (without a wrapper). Livesynht Pro DXi

Yep, I've heard that Livesynth is actually one of the best soudfont players around.
