Did anybody else notice that on the "O brother, where at thou" song, every single mic was an audio technica?

The lead singer was on a 3035,
the old guy with the rich voice was on an AT wireless
and all the instruments were either 4033s or 4050s.

It sounded big and clear too.

Someone needs to get the $199 3035 to see if the awesome expensive sound that longwavestudio got was just a fluke or if these mics are for real.

i saw them. i even commented to my wife...check out the Audio Technica mics.

are you sure that was a 3035?

Toot our own horn...

I gotta toot the dbx horn here, they were using a bunch of dbx 160SL's as well...Cool! I'm not sure what pre's they were using though, probably the ones on the board.

As far as I could tell all the wireless mics were ATs as well, probably some kind of endorsement thing or something.

nope.

That was totally a 3035 the shape and shockmount give it away. Sounded like it should cost like a Neumann though.
