Audio-technica pro 63 instrument mic

yoyo

At your service
i'm looking at buying one of these, are they any good for the price???

plus, i cna get $20 off if i get hte scratch and dent one, is this a bad choice?

never had one but

yoyo,

I looked at the ad and I downloaded the spec and it looks like a pretty nice mic.

I assume you're talking under $50. That's my go ahead and buy it price point anyway.

They recommend it for guitar cabinets. Is that what you plan to use it for? Because it will probably do other things too. Maybe horns, vocals, or snare. More for live vocals than recording vocals.

I like Audio Technica. I have one of their cheaper mics, MB4000C, and it's a pretty good mic. A field condenser.

Thanks,

Hairy Larry

hey man, thanks for your reply.

i would use it for recording my guitar amp. that would be the main use. i would also probly use it for micing a snare now and then

thanks abunch, i've also got my sound engineer friend (pro) looking at it. he was away, and i didn't thnk he would get back so soon. but thanks anyways, i'll think about getting it:)
