Audio Technica ATW3141b........repair or replace???

We have four of these wireless units at our church (6 months old), and last night one of the children dropped one of the microphones, and now the sound is intermittent from that mic.
Any ideas as to possible repairs? Is it possible to buy only a replacement mic
(atw3141b)? I've done the google thing, and everything seems to point to a complete system. Thanks for any and all help!

First, see if it's under warranty. Most AT gear is warranted for a year. One drop really should not cause a mic to stop working unless it's from a lot higher than a child would normally hold it. Call AT first and they will probably take care of it.

If they won't fix it, then intermittent sound usually means a broken wire somewhere. Probably an easy fix if you crack it open.

If you can find anyone in your parish who can handle a multi meter and a soldering iron, he'll have it fixed in 15 minutes.
