Hi Guys,
I recently decided to take the shift away from my desktop to a full laptop setup.
My old PC consisted of Windows XP with a m-audio 1010lt audio interface running intially Cubase SX 2 then upgrading to SX 3. Note i have no previous issues with old SX 2 files in SX 3.
I have now moved over to a notebook with a M-audio Firewire 410 with Vista Ultmate and SX3.
Now I have transfered all my data across to a USB hard drive and installed SX3 on my notebook and it seems all of my audio files are not only out of sync with the in time Midi files but the audio is sped up and of course pitched shifted up at the same time. It seems that they are out of sync because the audio wave files are playing to fast!!
I have tried draggin the same audio files back into the cubase project to see if it would fix it to no avail. I have checked with some files I have in SX2 and SX3 format but makes no differences what version format they are in.
Although it seems as though when i Play the audio files in winamp they are perfectly in time and at the correct pitch.
Could someone please offer any type of assistance. I have about 80 odd compositions that are about to be useless if I dont fix this problem.
