Hi guys, i'm from brazil and i'm going to spend one week in NYC in January. I want to start a little home studio and for the start, I want an audio interface. But I dont have much money to spend on it. So i'm looking for one of these 4 models.

TASCAM US144-MKII

M-Audio Fast Track C400

PreSonus AUDIOBOX USB

M-Audio Fast Track USB

I'm looking only to record voice and guitar.

I shouldn't buy M-Audio. They suck when it comes to driver-updates.
You should check out Focusrute's Scarlett-series though. They know their stuff and are reliable. :)
The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 should be around your price-range

^ He is correct, on the Focusrite that is

Sorry Samuel but that is complete hossfeathers. M-Audio have the best track record for driver quality, solidity and updates of anyone else in the industry bar probably RME!

I admit things are a little strained at the moment with the AVID influence but you CAN still find stuff.

Caio: That C400 looks good but I have no experience of it (I think SoS reviewed it? Will check for thee). But since I see that interface in the £150-£200 region I am bound to suggest...Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6. I have been recommending this AI on 3 forums for a year and NOT ONE person has come back with a negative.

Dave.

Some people told me that TASCAM is a good choice too.

Saffire 2i2 have the best pre, am I right? I will record guitars and bass and voice. But guitars and bass will be recorded a lot more than voice. So I should choose c400 or saffire 2i2, right?

sorry for my english mistakes.

Yeah, that's right, sorry for the mistake, so to only record acoustic guitar and bass, and sometimes voice, i should go with the focusrite?

Yes, Focusrite pre are good but so are those on the KA6 and it beats the pants off everything else on that list for low latency.

Dave.

Thanks Dave, but I think that I don't need more than two inputs and it's out of the price I can pay in the moment
