hello...
im new on the Mixing and the recording stuff,and im planing to make a simple home studio ,im going to buy a simple Mixer with a 5 tracks,and im planing to buy a really simple one ,my problem is how to hook up the mixer to the pc ,im planing to record some stuff thru the cubase but i have no ida about how to hook up the mixer to the pc,do i need an audio interface to do that,and how because i have no idea on the Mixing stuff any help?

If your mixer has a headphone jack you can use that. Run a 1/4 inch cable to the 'line in' on the back of your PC. Depending on the size of your headphone jack you might need an 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch adapter.

Two black rings on the tip means stereo. One black ring on the tip means mono.

try that mixer out. I have it and love it. its USB so your software will pick it right up. it actually comes with Cubase

I don't know if thats too expensive but for what you want: simple, connectivity, fair price this is perfect.
