can I say as an owner of Cakewalk Sonar dont bother...download Reaper..its $60 and does everything sonar does without paying for a bunch of plugins you may not use, a cluttered, dark GUI and the worst automation for how many times the price??

Or you can always buy my copy, in which case forget about what I just said...its excellent :)

hey i suggest you get the Lexicon alpha desktop USB audio interface off amazon or something ...i think it goes for $70 ...well worth checking aye :) goodluck

Hey if you use M Audio interface, you need Protools. Am I right to say that?

Nope, I only looked at one interface as an example and it says.....

"Fast Track Pro is compatible with most popular PC and Mac music software"

I hate to be a smart ass but.............just wait until the REAL jones begins. Nonetheless, I am a dedicated basement shopper. Save some cash, buy a decent interface, decent mic, decent monitors. You will be happier in the end. Oh, shameless Reaper plug!!!! REAPER. $60.0 US (get the manual to it is free, and read it. Are you there? READ IT.
