Audio from Video ---(DVD?)

----I'm starting to call this software "Cool Edit Pro-Tools" ...lol..

Hey guys,

I need help in sampling some dialouge from a DVD...

I've been downloading some monologues from the internet, but now I'd like some freedom to get it from whereever..

Any suggestions?
 
Just grab the audio outs from the DVD player (usuallly RCA plugs, or digital if your soundcard will handle it) and get the audio to your soundcard (via a mixer, pre-amp, or adapters) and hit record.


If you have a DVD player in your computer, I'm sure you can rip the audio directly from the DVD. Check out download.com for options.
 
Thanks guys...I've discovered an even easier way...

it involves :

1. radioshack 1/8" to 1/8" wire...

2. both hands...
