Hi,

I am currently using v5.0 on a PIII550 with 128 megs of ram and a 12gig 7200RPM drive.

I am experiencing audio dropout during playback of wave files that I have recorded. It seems to happen when I play back multiple audio tracks.

My system CPU usage is low and I have lots of HD space.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks --> the boucheman

Need a bit more info:

- what soundcard
- how many tracks
- how many plug-in's running
- what operating system

Also, the driver you have setup in system - ASIO multimedia, DirectX etc is important.

Cubase VST32 Problems

Hi,
I just upgraded to VST32 and I'm having a lot of dropout problems when I record in 32-bit. Everything seems fine and then I'll get all of these digital sounding 'chirps'. I'll also get recurring noises in channels that I'm not even using....it's bad. I tore everything apart and I'm thinking it must be the 32 bit thing....I can play back tons of audio tracks in 24 no problem at all.I've messed with the buffer settings and all of that....no luck.

Do you have a 32bit soundcard? If 24 is giving you no problems... leave it. If the machine ain't broke...
