Hey there,
Recently I re-installed my windows vista 32-bit OS. After I reinstalled I began having problems with CUBASE as well as having audio playback when I plugged my guitar direct line into the PC. I know there is a correlation between the two. I have installed the latest ASIO4all drivers but am still not able to have my guitar playback directly through my speakers. I tried in Audacity to use the "monitor" mode but there is a huge delay and would much prefer to have it the way I did before I reformatted my pc. It used to be a plug and play. I would plug in the mic, a window would pop up saying "mic-in" and when I clicked OK the sound would come out.
Most online tutorials say to do this (which Ive tried)> Control Panel>Sounds>Recording>Adjust levels, or Sounds>right click>show disabled devices>stereo out.
No luck so far. If anyone has suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!!
