Audio Delay Problem

I am using Logic Express 8 and I am pretty new to the program.

Trying to record my voice but there is a delay in my voice.
And no matter what I try I can't get rid of it.

I just need to hear exactly what I am saying!!!

I wonder does anyone know how can I get back to normal!

Also, make sure you aren't using any plugins while tracking. Sometimes they can cause a delay in sound.

By far the most common cause of latency problems.......assuming you have decent hardware and good software. Always disable plugins while you are still recording tracks.

...unless you're using an old, slow computer....in which case you might need to upgrade. It'd have to be pretty old and slow though...

What is your buffer size set to? Lower the number of samples and the latency should improve. Note: I'm talking about the audio interface buffer, NOT the disk read-ahead buffer or anything like that.
