idiots unite!
Hello everyone,
I was deeply moved and re-inspired again today.
Allow me to explain.
Today I 'met' (used in a virtual sense) a man called Joe Meek, and many incredible and warm thoughts of days gone by flooded my mind, aswell as thoughts of many incredible people, long gone, who have in a way helped get us into what we love to do, and sometimes, take for granted....home recording.
I invite you to look at this link, and maybe discover/re-discover the concepts that became realities some 40 to 50 years ago, to do with technologies and concepts thought to be entirely incorrect and 'against the grain' only a short time ago.
I hope that my feelings can be duplicated by you on this incredible journey into early sound/music recording, and maybe understand the inner workings of this 'troubled' man.
There are many links available, google Joe Meek, for example.

Enjoy, as I am!
