audio cdr/cd-rw for VF-08

i would like to hear from VF-08 users about the units they are using for stereo mixdown.
 
cd burner

i just use a stand-alone cd burner for my mixdown from my vf-16.
i connect it with a digital cable. i got the cd burner from circut city
for about $200.00 it does the job good!!!

Zeke - are you using the SCSI port card option or the standard RCA stereo out?
 
VF-08 mastering

I just purchased an Onkyo se-u55 ($99, www.JandR.com) sound module for my computer which allows me to hook the vf-08's sp-dif output (or input) to my computer for true digital mastering.

I haven't done much with it yet, but initial trys show it works very well. Much cheaper than going to the SCSI card (unless you already have one)
